Gilbert Rugby Ball

This is my first ever Rugby Ball Cake!!

I'm not a huge fan of rugby if I'm to be honest and carving a rugby ball from cake turned out to be a lot more complicated than I first imagined.  

But once it was carved and covered I set about hand painting the Gilbert logo along with the England Rose, not sure if I've mentioned this before but I LOVE a bit of hand painting! :)
